Privacy Policy
Oh a Chord collects nothing. This isn't a summary of a longer policy. It's the whole thing. There is no account to create, no data to hand over, and nothing to opt out of, because nothing is ever collected.
Last updated August 2026.
What the app collects
Nothing. Oh a Chord has no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or telemetry of any kind. It makes no network requests. There is no server it talks to, and no third-party SDK bundled inside it to talk to one on its behalf.
What stays on your device
If you save a sound you've tweaked in the advanced settings drawer, it's written to a plain file inside the app's own storage on your iPad. That's the same place any app keeps its own documents. The file is never uploaded, synced, or shared. Deleting the app deletes it.
Microphone and other permissions
Oh a Chord never asks for microphone access. It only plays sound, it never records it. It requests no other device permissions.
Children
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either. There is nothing here for a parent to review or request the deletion of.
Changes to this policy
If that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens, in plain language. That covers a future version adding an account, sync, or any form of data collection.
